In a bid to encourage young people to marry, “Youth Bride cash Rewards” are offered. It address concerns about a declining birth rate. Eastern Chinese county is offering couples a “reward” of 1,000 yuan for the young bride age less than 25 years.

Last week, the Official WeChat account of Changshan county published a notice. The notice promotes age- appropriate marriage and childbearing, especially for new weds by offering a reward. The notice also incorporates a set of subsidies for childcare, fertility, education and benefiting couples with children.
