The Norwegian King’s Guard has promoted Sir Nils Olav III, a king penguin residing at Scotland’s Edinburgh Zoo, to the Position of Major General. This promotion has granted Nils the distinction of holding the Third Highest rank within the Norwegian Army. The Norwegian King’s Guard has designated the widely acclaimed king penguin as its mascot and colonel in chief. The Edinburgh Zoo has posted photos of the ceremony on X- formerly Twitter. The Edinburgh Zoo christened a king penguin with the names of two people. Major Nils Egelien, who arranged his adoption by the zoo in 1972, and the King of Norway, King Olav. The Guardsmen pay visits to Sir Nils at the zoo every few years while performing at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in the City. During these visits, they confer a promotion upon him, as stated in a blog by the Edinburg Zoo. Since adopted in 1972, he has steadily climbed the ranks. He started as the Mascot and was later promoted to Corporal in 1982. Then Sergeant in 1987, Regimental Sergeant Major in 1993 and Honorable Regimental Sergeant Major in 2001.In 2005 he was promoted to Colonel-in-Chief. In 2008 he was rank to Knighthood, Brigadier Sir in 2016 and now Major General in 2023.

Influential Contraband Baron Mathee wa Ngara In The Court

She has file a petition at the Milimani Law Courts, aiming to prevent her arrest and prosecution on drug trafficking allegations. The Legal label Kigunzu as a notorious drug dealer in the Nairobi. She, however, denies any involvement in the illegal trade and accuses the police of fabricating evidence against her. “I have never committed any crime in Kenya nor have I been involved in any criminal activity in Kenya. Kigunzu questions why the police intend to arrest her and have kept her two minor sons, aged 16 and 17, detained for five days without providing any justification. The prosecutions has urged the court to deny bail to Nancy Kigunzu alias Mathee wa Ngara, Teresia Wanjiru, and two others. In an affidavit filed at the JKIA law Court, the prosecution requested the court to detain the four individuals, in order to prevent them from negatively influencing the society. “The accused persons be isolated from society so they do not continue poisoning the society in which they live in,” reads the affidavit. READ ALSO: The investigating officer, Stephen Chesire, mentioned that if released, the accused individuals would likely evade court proceedings. He added that they present a flight risk, and their place of residence is unknown. The prosecution argued that they plan to engage essential witnesses. By interviewing and recording their statements, they might uncover information leading to the arrest of additional accomplices. “Should the respondents be released before the investigations are complete. There is a likelihood that they will interfere with the investigations and complication of evidences,” the court was told. The prosecution argues that it possesses compelling evidence against the accused persons. Authorities have charge the four individuals with possession and trafficking of drugs.

Billionaire Jaswant Singh Rai Found after After Days of Abduction

Armed men abducts him at the intersection of Wood Avenue and Lenana Road in broad daylight. After several days, they released him from the captivity.
