Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, vividly pays a surprise visit to the Nyayo House yesterday date 30th,2023. His purpose as CS was to assess the situation at the government facility.

Kindiki engaged with Kenyans using its services for passport applications and other government needs. He interacted with a Kenyans who was queuing up for a passport applications, he reviewed the documents in the individual’s possession and inquired about the urgency and reasons for needing a passport.

He stated that the governement is actively addressing the delays in passport applications that the country has experienced.

“Just give us few days, probably weeks. The printing has a big problem for the longest time,” he said.

The CS added that he won’t permit any corruption within the facility and affirmed his commitment to take strong action against individuals involved, irrespective of their ranks.

“Kenyan, security officers and immigration officers working here, who are doing great job and O really applaud them to continue serving patriotic Kenyans. However, the public cannot be complaining in vain, there must be few among us who are soiling our name,” he said.
